Supplier Quality Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer into our Quality team in Tuusula.

What will be your main responsibilities?

• to work directly with our large supplier network to elevate their quality assurance processes and ensure compliance with the global medical device regulations and our expectations thereof
• to support Sourcing, Operations and R&D in supplier quality related topics
• to plan and conduct supplier audits and drive improvement projects based on the findings
• to drive and manage Supplier Corrective and Preventive (SCAR) actions to improve supplier manufacturing and quality control processes
• to monitor supplier quality and validity of supplier certificates
• to report supplier quality related KPIs

Job Requirements:

We expect you to

• challenge status quo and have a desire for continuous improvement
• have at the minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical area
• have previous experience in Quality Management System auditing – minimum ISO 9001, preferably ISO 13485
• have at the minimum 3 years of experience in management of supplier quality
• have experience with problem solving methods
• have experience on improving Quality Management Systems
• have good English speaking and writing skills + native in Finnish language
• be able to collaborate across organizational levels and functions. You drive agreed actions persistently to completion.
• establish sustainable relationships with key suppliers to enable fluent collaboration in problem solving projects
• liaise with suppliers to find solutions to systematic, repeating and critical quality issues.

The following are considered as an advantage:

• Master of Science degree
• knowledge on different manufacturing methods for electrical and mechanical parts
• previous experience in working in medical device business
• data analysis skills e.g. with Excel.
