Job Overview

Performs advanced inspection and audits to track, analyze, and report on materials, processes, and products to ensure conformance to company's quality standards.

• Evaluate, qualify, approve appropriate new, competitive suppliers.
• Review and approve/reject/amend supplier Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) submissions.
• Participating in cross-functional teams to evaluate and select new suppliers based on quality and cost criteria.
• Ensuring the quality of supplies by conducting tests and assessments on incoming supplies to identify any quality issues.
• Developing and maintaining supplier scorecards to measure and track supplier performance over time.
• Providing assistance in determining root cause analysis of quality issues and ensure that corrective action is implemented.
• Improving supplier performance through coaching, teaching and training.

What your background should look like:

Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field with a minimum of 8 years of experience; Masters degree or higher or local equivalent may be preferred at this level.
