Supplier Quality Manager

ABOUT SKYRYSE:

Skyryse wants to allow anyone, to fly anywhere, in any aircraft, safely and as a highly experienced pilot would. Powered by the Skyryse operating system, we automate flight controls and management to achieve unmatched safety and eliminate opportunities for human error in all flight stages, and in emergency situations. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Drives processes to identify and manage risk in product development, (PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow, PPAP and Control Plans, etc.) with suppliers.
• Review and audit supplier manufacturing processes and quality systems.
• Implement and monitor the part qualification and certification process with selected suppliers
• Provide technical guidance and assistance to suppliers to solve process and product quality issues and improve internal and outgoing quality performance.
• Coordinate cross-functionally to address supply base non-conformances and develop recovery plans.
• Manage the QMS audit schedules to assure compliance with internal QMS requirements.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Advanced Degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, or STEM related field.
• 6+ years of experience in Quality Systems Administration with focus on supplier management
• Expert knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have strong computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and database management.
• Must be able to travel 20-30% both national and international.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 10+ years of experience in Quality Systems Administration; experienced in Quality system auditing and customer audits.
• Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate best practices for quality solutions 
• Certifications in quality management and aerospace industry standards, such as AS9100 Lead Auditor or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
• Experience conducting root cause investigations using Root Cause Analysis tools (Fault tree, Cause and effect diagram/ fishbone / etc.)

The base salary range is $130,000 - $160,000 USD a year. Your base salary will be determined on experience and the pay of of employees in similar positions.
