Group/Division

The Global Service Support Organization (GSS) team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support. The GSS organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.

KLA seeks an organized professional for the role of Spares Field Analyst. This person will functionally support the service organization by performing routine business analysis including report building, trending and report out of key KPIs. The analyst will work closely with internal product and supply planning, technical PSO rep as well as logistics teams in order to track installed base growth, demand trends, lead regional inventory levels and the overall field spares support. Analyst will collaborate with teams to understand network behavior and propose changes, driving decision on improvements.

• Collect, analyze and report data on key field health metrics and KPIs
• Conduct Miss Analysis - Take action to address current and future issues impacting fill rate performance and Spares Inventory cost
• Implement and manage material allocations to meet customer demand and fill rate requirements
• Summarize inventory status and performance to leadership weekly
• Participates in development of predictive analytics to improve service planning operations and executive decision-making around spare parts/ network movements
• Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to track data
• Use graphs, infographics and other methods to visualize data
• Ideal candidate will have experience reviewing, analyzing and arranging large data sets in a way that is understandable and clearly identifies central themes and messages.
• Drive and/or participate in multi-functional projects that impact fill rate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of related experience or Master's degree with 3+ years of work experience.
• BS/BA or MS/MA , preferably in a relevant field such as Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Data Analytics.
• High proficiency in MS Excel; MS Access, Data Base, SQL., Experience with Hana or Snowflake a plus
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI or other business intelligence/analytical tools/services
• Works across multiple functional business areas to bring data together in ways that enable end-to-end business process reporting and analysis
• Superb communication skills in English both written and oral communications skills
• Experience speaking publicly to internal and external customers.
• Critical thinking and strong analytical skills: ability to collect, coordinate, and analyze data to support demand and supply optimization.
• Be passionate about continuous process and results improvements
• Should enjoy an exciting and fast paced environment.
• Creative, innovative and inventive, with a passion for speed, agility, simplification and proactive action
• Able to work on multiple projects in parallel as needed
• Demonstrable ability to efficiently handle ambiguity, identify gaps, and implement innovative solutions to increase operational efficiency.
