The Opportunity. The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for planning and coordinating with manufacturing, assembly production and purchasing teams on buy points, manufacturing and assembly volumes and quantities to meet sales and inventory stocking goals, utilizing forecast sales, market conditions and sales trends.
The Job. The Supply Chain Analyst will plan, strategize, and coordinate manufacturing levels with our manufacturing team to meet inventory, sales and strategic goals. The Supply Chain Analyst will assist with implementing Supply Chain optimization and develop, track, and manage inventory and supply chain KPI's. They will forecast inventory holding costs and inventory volume to make recommendations on working capital requirements and warehousing requirements. Additionally, they will assist with developing supply chain strategies for new programs and work to refine existing strategies related to inventory flow through the entire supply chain. The Supply Chain Analyst will participate in meetings, trainings, workshops etc. for the purpose of conveying and /or gathering information required to perform job functions. They will respond to inquiries from a variety of internal and external sources for the purpose of providing information, direction and/or appropriate referrals.
Requirements
- ERP experience
- Inventory Management experience
- BS in related field preferred.
- 5+ years' experience working with inventory planning and control in a manufacturing environment.
- 5+ years' experience working with complex ERP and MRP systems in a manufacturing environment.
- 5+ years' experience working with Excel in a manufacturing environment.
- 5+ years' experience working with complex BOM's (Bills Of Materials) in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with Data Visualizations programs, Power Bi, Tableau etc. is a plus.
- Solid project management and cross functional team leadership.
- Results oriented and self-motivated to drive the team to achieve company and individual goals.
