As a Supply Chain Analyst supporting our Supply Chain Planning Team, you will be trusted with collecting, analyzing, and reporting inventory data and executing on inventory initiatives to support the Surgical Global Supply Chain team. Individual will collaborate with Global and Regional S&OP, Finance, Global Distribution and Manufacturing at Fort Worth Main in Fort Worth Texas.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Provide monthly update on Surgical YE inventory projections, by sub-franchise.
• Calculate and report monthly / quarterly WOC information to Supply Chain and Finance leadership.
• Identify potential areas of risk for obsolete inventory and execute on actions to mitigate risk.
• Identify key causals for obsolete inventory and present trending data to allow for proactive prevention of similar occurrences in future.
• Perform analysis on excessive inventory coverage (> 1 year) in Distribution Centers and make recommendations on movement of inventory to other Distribution Centers to increase rate of utilization and prevent inventory obsolescence.
• Work with Supply Chain Heads and Finance to align any product mapping differences between systems / tools to enable more accurate reporting.
• Assist in setting yearly inventory targets for Markets / intercompany distribution centers.
• Assist in annual strategic planning for MTO, Inventory and Distribution
• Assist in incorporating ABC categorization into inventory management processes.
• Provide detailed inventory analytics to support quarterly business review process.
• Implements process improvement initiatives to support balanced inventory with high service levels to Alcon's customers.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs; Assoc.+6 yrs; M.S.+0 yrs)
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
• 2 Years of Relevant Experience
• Work hours: Monday through Friday - 8:00am - 4:30pm
• Travel Requirements: 0 to 10%
