Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.

The Supply Chain Analyst gives all necessary support to the team to reach the customer demands and fulfil targets in timing, productivity and quality. This position will assist in the efficient and effective Supply Chain process of purchasing of sample in house and/or external and ensure Master data set up on time and accurate.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work with Project team to release and follow up Sample PO to support customer and project requirements
Work with Project team to review and load future forecast
Work with Plant planning team to arrange the manufacture or the purchase of stock to meet promised deliveries against forecasted demand, to monitor inventory levels and production loading and to best utilize the resources of the department.
Receive requests for expedites from customer service organization and decide on appropriate action to meet the needs of our customers.
Determine priorities, liaising as required with other internal functions e.g. product management and customer service group.
Review and track check list and ensure all supply chain activity completed timely and avoid of any project delay incurred by Supply Chain activity
Review and input project hand over check list and ensure project successfully hand over to Sustaining team

What your background should look like:
• Completed Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years of relevant experience• Experience with SAP• Must be organized with the ability to effectively multi-task.• Computer proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.• Must have good oral and written communication skills in English and Germany• Strong business acumen combined with demonstrated negotiation / influencing skills.• Knowledge of all product lines and associated manufacturing processes under area of responsibility.• Certified in Production; Inventory Management etc - APIM CPIM is preferable
