SUPPLY CHAIN ANALYST III

Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.
• Function as a main contact point for logistics and delivery issues.• Manage forecast through execution of inbound and outbound freight cost.• Address issues with forwarders and local carriers.• Key contact in the execution of time critical expedites• Drive end to end productivity initiatives around cost and time.• Support our global teams and guide on-site logistics and warehouse teams• Drive and assist in the identification and implementation of continuous improvement opportunities to deliver cost reduction and superior service.• Use of technical tools and internal data to generate reports that detail efficiencies as well as areas of opportunity• Proactively provide updates and escalate when appropriate• Approach daily activities with a positive and professional attitude
What your background should look like:
• Bachelor's degree preferred (Business, Supply Chain or equivalent experience) with 3-5 years of Logistics experience• Strong analytical abilities, and high proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other relevant software• Extensive knowledge of software like Tableau or PowerBI• Good understanding of SAP or a similar ERP system• Exceptional listening & communications (written & verbal) skills required• Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally required• Key competencies
