Job Description

Position Overview

The Supply Chain Analyst, New Product Introduction (NPI) will act as key team member of NPI and operations business processes. The role involves supporting new products and operations business processes by working closely with Supply Chain (materials management, Procurement, Logistics, Warehousing, Data Governance, Operation processes), and other teams within the organization.

Essential Duties

include but are not limited to the following:
  • Provide support for new product introduction projects.
  • Provide support to operations processes and data governance.
  • Serve as liaison from the Product Development team to Supply Chain, helping support accountability, integration, and execution of tasks.
  • Support NPI projects by executing tasks as appropriate.
  • Support NPI goals and communications by aggregating key information for regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Provide ideas and support the growth and building sustainable processes within the NPI space.
  • Support monthly S&OP process by collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure content is updated and support continuous improvement in this process.
  • Provide day to day support as needed in operations business processes or data governance.
  • Support business systems and users through IT ticket system.
  • Be an SME and support function within the operations team on systems or processes.
  • Help create and edit documentation such as SOP's or document templates.
  • Provide training and support to stakeholders.
  • Provide extra capacity when needed to data governance or operations business processes to help meet timelines.
  • Identify opportunities to reuse or recycle materials to minimize consumption of new materials, minimize waste, or to convert wastes to by-products.
  • Ability to interface and work effectively within the team and department, as well as all levels of the organization, vendors, customers, etc.
  • Ability to effectively work on many complex and varied projects at one time, with frequent changing priorities.
  • Ability to quickly learn and effectively use various software solutions.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and planning skills to optimize and drive efficiency in the end-to-end supply chain.
  • Excellent communication with strong interpersonal and listening skills.

  • Support and comply with the company's Quality Management System policies and procedures.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day.
  • Ability to work seated for approximately 90% of a typical working day. Ability to work standing for approximately 10% of a typical working day.
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds for approximately 5% of a typical working day.
  • Ability and means to travel between Madison locations.
  • Ability to travel 5% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field; or High School Diploma/General Education Degree and 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree.
  • 3+ years of cumulative experience in project management, supply chain operations, or business analysis.
  • 4+ years of cumulative experience in negotiating and seeking compromise collaboratively with external and internal stakeholders at all levels.
  • 2+ years' experience working with Microsoft Office Suite, Internet navigation, Email usage, and project management software.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience in a biotech-manufacturing environment, preferably in a GMP and/or ISO environment.
  • 1+ years of experience within the life science industry.
  • 1+ years of experience with SAP.
