SUPPLY CHAIN ANALYST - SENIOR

Description

We are looking for a talented:

SUPPLY CHAIN ANALYST - SENIOR

to join our team specializing in Supply Chain for our Power System Business

(Hybrid) Minneapolis, MN. However, a blend of remote/home office, work is expected. An ideal candidate would be positioned within the region, to support as-needed on-site work. Feel free inquire about specifics.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
  • Enabling better decision making by providing analytics in the context of business performance
  • Responsible for compiling and maintaining consistency of master database with projected ordering run rates ensuring common categories with key data sources
  • Responsible to add key attributes to master database to enable analysis such as unit prices, production assembly locations, production lines, engine manufacturing sites, key components supplier names, etc.
  • Responsible for developing and running best fit and diversification data models with individual product projections risks inputs with aggregated projections at production lines and business segments as outputs
  • Monitor deviations to projected run rates and quantify impacts to aggregated views and recommend adjustments to projected ordering run rates proactively
  • Responsible for developing models to relate order intake rates with opportunities, leads and quotation activity. Develop model to relate abnormal demand with order intake.
  • Deliver standard analytical packages for production lines, aggregated business segments and engine super cycles
  • Deliver cancellations, reschedules and past dues analysis
  • Deliver order intake analysis accordingly to SBP monthly and yearly cycles
  • Deliver LoB and PSBU order intake reporting and commentaries
  • Incorporate LoBs Leader's input into order intake assumptions

To be successful in this role you will need the following:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Information Technology, Engineering, or a relevant field
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience, in a related field is required
  • Solid statistical knowledge or experience applying statistical concepts in several projects
  • Solid knowledge of portfolio financial concepts or risk management
  • Experience processing changes/updates to extremely large data sets efficiently
  • Experience driving consistency in processes, teams, data and analysis
  • Experience keeping synchronized multiple data sources when changes occur
  • Knowledge of Power BI or Database relationships or Programming languages
  • Good project management skills
  • Desire to deliver high quality presentations keeping main message in simple, focused, and structured

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
