What Your Job Will Be Like
The Supplier Relations and Supply Chain Management Department is currently seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to lead Sandia's Suspect/Counterfeit Program.
The selected candidate will act as the single point of contact (POC) for all incoming inquiries and reports of suspect or counterfeit items, as well as collaborate with the Field and Program Office (F/PO) and DOE Office of Inspector General (OIG). They will also act as the lead Suspect Counterfeit (S/CI) Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all Laboratory-related S/CI discoveries, issues, and related activities.

About Our Team
The Supplier Relations and Supply Chain Management Department is responsible for a variety of collaborations between Sandia and the community. This includes both current and potential suppliers to Sandia.
Supply Chain Risk Management: Our mission is to mitigate risk throughout the Supply Chain through risk management, supplier evaluation and management, and processes to mitigate, identify, and report quality issues.
We partner with Procurement, the Technical Line, and others to identify, evaluate, and manage supply-chain and supplier risks.
We are integrators to influence and improve supply chain policies and partner cross-functionally to evaluate contract performance (e.g. SCORE), supplier quality, and suspect/counterfeit parts.
Some of our programs include Supply Chain Risk Management/TRUST, Suspect/Counterfeit and Supplier Quality, including Quality Level Program.

Security Clearance

- Coordinate actions relative to Laboratory S/CI issues, such as reporting applicable Laboratory S/CI discoveries and reviews all external alerts
- Collect, maintain, and disseminate relevant information on S/CI and DOE or other notifications to Laboratory personnel and subcontractors
- Manage the S/CI program including audits, assessments, meetings, or reviews used to validate program effectiveness, performance, or continuous improvement
- Participate in internal activities and processes related to S/CI prevention, detection, and disposition
- Initiate lessons learned reports, as applicable, concerning S/CI issues
- Coordinate, perform, and maintain S/CI training for all Laboratory personnel
- Maintain S/CI program updates to include website, program documentation, and awareness roadshow
- Manage access the entity email address and all internal S/CI information folders, inquiries, questions, etc.
Qualifications We Require
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, plus 5 years directly related experience; or equivalent experience and/or achievements that demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the duties of the job
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q-level security clearance

- Interact effectively with all levels of internal and external personnel; build effective working relationships and build and lead diverse teams across the laboratories
- Track, analyze, and identify trends in data to detect areas of risk and systemic issues, and provide effective solutions
- Identify and implement process improvements while adhering to standards and raising expectations
- Write and maintain master project schedules
- Perform basic measurements on product using calipers, verniers, micrometers, visual comparators, thread gages, etc.
- Perform queries in Oracle and in the P-Card Transactions database
- Use a microscope, borescope, or other visual aid to perform inspection or analysis
- Strong oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of non-destructive and destructive testing methods that may be used for verification testing
- Basic knowledge of industry and government standards for processing, acquiring, and/or calibrating materials as well as certification standards used to qualify inspectors
- Knowledge in using applications such as Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Smart Draw, MS Project, and ADOBE Pro
