Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration , Supply Chain, Computer Science, Engineering, or combination of relevant education, experience, and training
5+ years of progressive analytics experience in the field of operations and logistics
Strong verbal and written communication skills with an interest in data-focused storytelling
Strong understanding and experience with common coding languages and ETL applications (i.e., SQL, Python, R, Alteryx)
Strong understanding and experience building visualization in Tableau or PowerBI
Descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics experience with complex, unrefined data using a variety of analytical and statistical toolsets.
Ability to conduct root cause analysis to pinpoint variances and recommend solutions to avoid variances in the future.
Experience managing multiple analytics projects and stakeholders in a fast-moving, results-driven business environment.
Logistics financial competence and the ability to manage competing priorities with limited supervision.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
Job Description:
The Sr. Analyst (Performance Management) will work with teams like Marketplace Operations, Supply & Inventory Planning, Finance, along with Transportation Operations, Capabilities and Logistics Service Provider (LSP) teams:
- responsible for creating and analyzing End to End Transportation Data
- creating metrics, dashboards/visuals, and data products
- provide visibility to key operational metrics, supports sourcing events, and
- works closely with T&T capability development organization and cross-functional peers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Drive analysis of financial and operational performance data (e.g., cost, service, speed) to identify key insights and opportunities to improve the end-to-end transportation network (e.g., carrier strategy, speed to market, port mixture, transportation flows, etc.)
- Design, build, and apply visual tools based on stakeholder requirements to help provide insights to our operational partners.
- Support capability development through success criteria tracking to ensure benefits are robust and mutually exclusive across business segments.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support strategic top-to-top discussions with both key internal and external partners (e.g., strategic customers, carriers/vendors, and internal leadership)
- Develop and maintain centralized Transportation-focused data architecture for consumption and reporting layers.
- Create and automate reporting and insights at scale that informs and influences business decisions.
- Assist with strengthening Performance Management Strategy allowing full visibility to client's core metrics.
- Provide detailed cost metrics to ensure we're using the right carrier in the right locations within our transportation network.
