Division Overview

Hubbell Power Systems (HPS) engages in the design and manufacture of a wide variety of products used by utilities. Today, HPS is deeply engaged in product solutions for OSP Communication utility purposes, and has been actively growing that segment of the business. HPS roots have historically been in high voltage transmission, distribution, substation, underground products used by electric utilities. HPS products are also used in the civil construction, transportation, gas and water industries.

Position Overview

The Supply Chain Analytics Manager will drive transformation by designing, guiding, and managing analytics-based solutions across the Supply Chain. This role will analyze current business and Supply Chain processes with both quantitative and qualitative data to identify and advance solutions related to Supply Chain visibility, optimization, process simplification, information sharing (between both internal and external partners), and further manage implementation efforts through collaboration with key stakeholders across the Supply Chain. This role will also support the team on end-to-end Supply Chain improvements, system/tool integrations, and additional Supply Chain projects as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the development and delivery of analytics-based solutions to support and improve the overall effectiveness of the Supply Chain.
  • Drive operational efficiencies through automation and digitization of Supply Chain solutions that can be scaled across multiple teams/businesses.
  • Gather, transform, and synthesize large sets of unstructured data across various systems into structured information for analysis, decision-making, and reporting.
  • Overseeing product output, including design and delivery of reports that analyze and report business operations, processes, and performance metrics/KPI's.
  • Supports business with reporting and advanced analytics; using system knowledge to drive decisions from data and creating new reports where needed.
  • Aid with the drive to standardize tools and processes that impact the Supply Chain and related functions through model creation, implementation, and process/workflow creation.
  • Maintain continuous improvement mindset by striving for ways to strengthen end-to-end process perspective for complex global Supply Chain processes.
  • Support development of medium and long-term Supply Chain strategy.

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or related field in conjunction with data analytics and statistics experience.
  • 5+ years' experience in Supply Chain with a background and understanding of Supply Chain management principles such as (but not limited to) S&OP, Forecasting, Production Planning, Purchasing, and Logistics.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex problems through combination of data gathering/analysis, business intelligence, and problem solving to identify and propose solutions.
  • Critical thinking skills to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions; ability to understand and anticipate potential implications.
  • Comfortable with complex and large data sets with the ability to simplify and synthesize information for insights, sharing, and presentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and interact professionally with suppliers, customers (internal / external) and colleagues.
  • Experienced user of Business Intelligence and Data Visualization Software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • ERP (preferably SAP) experience with Master Data, MRP/Planning, OTC, PTP, etc.
  • APICS/ASCM or equivalent Supply Chain Certification preferred.
  • Experience with Data Cleanse, Prep, and Model software (SQL, Tableau, Power Query, etc.).

Bachelors Degree in Business or Finance
