Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Supply Chain Associate to join our TEAM! As a Supply Chain Associate, we need someone who is ready to provide a variety of support such as coordination across multi-functional teams, communication with Suppliers and other internal Daltile Teams, and validity of system data in alignment with business expectations.

Primary Objective

Supporting our Countertop Business Unit in facilitation of procuring finished good materials for delivery into the Stone Center(s) based on company business objectives. Placement of Purchase Orders, tracking of POs to timely delivery, coordination of data on POs across systems, and timely processing of payments.

Major Function and Scope

• Issues Purchase Orders per guidance from Business Unit Operations Team
• Reconciliation of POs, Receipts, and Invoices
• Review and resolves discrepancies related to Purchase Order accuracy
• Communicates with Business Unit and Supplier(s) on status of Purchase Order

• Ongoing Purchase Order maintenance related to material IDs, quantities, pricing, and timing
• Responsible for communicating with internal customers (such as Stone Centers, AP Team, Transportation, etc.) on the telephone, emails, and/or virtual meetings to coordinate syncing of data across systems for accuracy of information on Purchase Orders
• Utilizes SAP, web-based programs such as PowerBI, and other excel-based reporting tools to facilitate review and syncing of data on Purchase Orders

Experience and Knowledge Required

High school diploma or equivalent

1 year of experience in general business environment

Material Planning experience or equivalent general knowledge

Good communication skills, basic math, reading comprehension, writing skills, basic computer literacy

Competencies

Knowledge of an MRP system such as SAP preferred

Working knowledge of MS Office tools (Outlook and Excel preferred)
