Job Description
Job Summary :
The Supply Chain Consultant I will be accountable for providing support and strategic management of our active supply chain within a regional territory, supporting new implementations as well as a portfolio of existing AGS MSP Programs. The Supply Chain Consultant I will serve as a subject matter expert to lead projects/initiatives to ensure a supply chain that has high performance, activity, and strong program compliance.
Responsibilities :
- • With the support of a senior member of the SCM team, provide consultation and lead Supply Chain Management projects/initiatives (e.g. supplier surveys, optimizations, RFP’s, supplier sourcing, supplier forums, etc.)
- Analyze monthly/quarterly supplier data and provide a quarterly performance review along with optimization recommendations to clients on a cadence determined by the supply chain roadmap
- In partnership with a senior member of the team or leader, follow up on recommendations post implementation and provide an impact analysis to the program office and clientshowing the outcome of the changes made
- Work with senior team members to publish impact analysis results through a blog, case study and/or white paper
- Responsible for managing active and inactive supplier status and supplier distribution list alignment.
- Create annual roadmapsfor each client aligning the supply chain strategy with the goals and initiatives of the program office and client for the year ahead including optimization, inclusion and diversity and current market trends
- Â Perform and participate in quarterly supplier performance review sessions with program office
- Document and manage any supplier performance improvement plans implemented during scorecard meetings
- Serve as the primary point of contact for mentoring/coaching the supply chainÂ
- Serve as the primary point of contact forsuppliers that are interested in joining a program or working with AGS in general
- Source new suppliers to support program gaps
- Create and distribute critical communications to the supply chain
- Â Support the program office operations team with supplier escalation issues/concerns
- Provide newmembers of the programoffice with supply chain training (e.g.scorecards, SCM overview, etc.)
- Manage and document disciplinary actions with suppliers, through corrective action plans including suspensions and terminations
- Create and manage supplier RFI/RFP projects
- Organize and host supplier forums and focus groups
- Establish trust and partnership among the supplier community
- Maintain strong supplier, internal, and customer relationship
- Participate in the Client Kick-Off Meeting during implementation and lead the SCM work stream discussion; explaining our supplier management methodology and vetting timelines and deliverables
- Conduct Supply Chain Discovery Meeting with client to understand current state and landscape of the supply chains and summarize these findings with appropriate team members
Qualifications

Qualifications - Education, Knowledge, Experience :
• University degree / Post-secondary Education required

Previous staffing experience or MSP experience required

2+ years business experience

Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, conditional formatting)

Experience with and strong knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Adobe PDF • Experience with Outlook • Strong oral and written communication skills • Detail oriented

Excellence presentation skills and strong comfort level with key audiences that include client stakeholders, suppliers, internal leadership, etc.

 With the support of leadership, collaborate with various GBS teams and PMOs internally at AGS (navigating the company in order to achieve goals)

Strong organizational and documentation skills , Ability to work independently with some direction • Ability to successfully handle multiple concurrent tasks

 Ability to successfully interact with customer and supplier representativesm Ability to travel, as needed, to support new program implementations/program initiative
Additional Information
Computer Skills:
• Technology savvy with an understanding of the talent acquisition technology landscape
• Experience using Vendor Management Software (Fieldglass, Beeline, IQN, Ariba, etc.) and/or Spend Management platforms preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel) required
• Proficiency in CRM platforms such as Salesfore.com would be helpful.
Additional Requirements :
• Ability to travel to support clients within region, internal meetings and industry related conferences. This role can anticipate 30% - 40% travel in-country.
