Job Title: Supply Chain Coordinator

Job Description:

The supply chain coordinator is responsible for ensuring timely delivery of materials from the supply base to the dock and facilitating the movement and delivery of material from the dock to the build team.  This is an entry level supply chain position in the automation industry, it will provide the employee with the opportunity to learn about supply and demand flow in a global engineer to order environment and prepare them for the next step in a supply chain career journey.

Responsibilities Include:

• Updating ERP system with purchase order confirmations from the supply base
  • Follow up on mismatched promise dates vs. required dates
  • Ensuring that confirmed price and terms match purchase order price and terms
• Monitoring outstanding purchase orders
  • Expedite orders as needed by build team and project management
  • Follow up with supply base contacts regarding status of past due purchase order lines and communicate delays and new promise dates to build team and project management
  • Update ERP system as necessary
• Coordinate kitting of materials to build team
  • Work with lead builder to determine kitting scope
  • Set up kit rack strategy
  • Track short material per kit post delivery to build and ensure parts are married up to kit when they arrive
• Investigate record accuracy errors
• Assist applications engineering with data analysis
• Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Experience in warehousing and distribution or parts delivery in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (familiarity with v-lookups and pivot tables in excel a plus)
• Exposure to transacting in any ERP system a plus

Compensation: $17-$19/hour, depending on experience
