Supply Chain Coordinator

THIS POSITION IS ELIGIBLE FOR A $2,250.00 NEW HIRE SIGN-ON BONUS
JOB SUMMARY
The Supply Chain Coordinator assists the Planning, Buying, Materials and Shipping/Receiving team in the flow of production.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Utilize the production capacity, taking into consideration the sales forecast, historical sales, and new business opportunities.
- Support the Buyer and Sr Buyer with Purchase order and Sales order creation and maintenance.
- Support and execute the creation and implementation of Supplier scorecards.
- Support and assist the Master Planner with the release of jobs and loading appropriate demand in M2M.
- Execute NRE transactions monthly.
- Assist with Shipping and Receiving transactions as needed.
- Maintain finished goods inventory at target levels in ensuring high service levels, i.e. product availability.
- Convert buy card purchased items into M2M system driving purchased items.
- Support the S&OP process meetings to review service levels, performance against schedule, inventory strategy, supply plan to meet demand, and resource implications. Update Master Production Plan as necessary.
- Uses daily reporting tools to monitor and manage daily production, work-in-process, and shipped goods.
- Communicates and tracks material shortages and equipment downtime as needed.
- Monitors and manages purchase orders as required.
- Executes daily and weekly reporting to support the operations and supply chain teams.
- Assists Customer Service in communicating order status.
- Assists Buyers and Planners in master data management. Ensures transactional data is correct.
- Complies with company, quality, and safety standards, policies, and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in purchasing or planning roles
- Experience in managing manufacturing processes, productivity, and efficiency measurements.
- Experience using MRP / ERP systems, especially Advance Planning Systems
- Sound knowledge of supply chain processes and procedures including manufacturing planning, demand, and replenishment processes.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to reason and influence at all levels.
- Solid communication and presentation skills.
- Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
- Robust problem solving and analysis skills.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an individual encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.
