Supply Chain Coordinator

OPPORTUNITY

The primary purpose of this position is to add specific product family planning, reporting, and adapting to growing demands placed on planning from our internal customers, external customers and supply chain challenges for Milwaukee and outside tolling warehouses.

As a Supply Chain Coordinator, primary responsibilities include:

• Analyze/plan future demand for MK warehouse for interbranch
• Work with supply chain, production, interbranch, purchasing, and customer service to ensure inbound and outbound orders are executed safely and efficiently.
• Code freight bills associated to offsite inventory
• Reports production levels and plans on specific product families and customers to sales management as requested.
• Plan specific customer productions requiring extra scheduling
• Support specific customers needs by reporting, scheduling, ordering, and planning including using customer SAP planning software.
• Complete specific customer data entry for department to support planning
• Reporting production availability based on raw constraints for specific
• Lead and participate in efforts to reduce costs and improve
• Process purchase orders and coordinate interbranch orders for stock components and raw materials into offsite warehouse and production facilities.
• Communicate customer order shipment needs to assigned offsite warehouses and production facilities.
• Process purchase orders to assigned offsite warehouses for blending, packaging and/or freight fees.
• Process production schedule entry and reporting to mimic activities at the offsite production facility.
• Review offsite production warehouse supplier invoices for accuracy, investigate discrepancies and initiate internal and external corrective action requests as necessary.
• Maintain inventory balance records for all assigned outside tolling
• Help with the setup process for new offsite produced and inventoried
• Match vendor order confirmations and BOL’s to original purchase orders, and shipping
• Maintain shared drive customer order BOL records for all shipments handled by assigned offsite warehouses.
• Code freight bills associated to offsite inventory
• Process inbound transactions for materials returned between
• Process SCAR’s and follow up on corrective action as related to assigned offsite warehouses and MK.
• Assist in other duties as assigned

REPORTING STRUCTURE

• This position reports to the Planning and scheduling Supervisor.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL CRITERIA

• Associate Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
• 3 years’ experience in Supply Chain related field
• Previous experience with ERP systems with the ability to read a MRP report preferred
• Excellent communication skills, strong people skills and team player
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Applications
• Must have communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to read, write, and speak English.
