Supply Chain Coordinator - Level II
Job Description
We are looking for a talented Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team specializing in Supply Chain Planning for our SCM Department in Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes, France.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways :
- Manage Purchases: Oversee all purchases for the Workshop and French dealers.
- Sourcing: Source non-Cummins parts or obsolete/long lead time Cummins parts urgently needed by customers, including drawing requests and supplier quotations.
- Optimize Inventory Levels: Use statistical analysis and validated planning parameters to ensure optimal inventory levels, reducing excess stock and minimizing shortages.
- Align Supply and Demand Plans: Align the supply plan with the demand plan to drive stability and efficiency in the supply chain.
- Enhance HSE Standards: Report work-related incidents and comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards to contribute to a safer and healthier work environment.
- Ensure Quality Compliance: Perform quality checks on planning parameters and follow standard work procedures to maintain high-quality standards and support the Plan for Every Part (PFEP).
- Conduct Supply and Demand Analysis: Highlight areas of concern for the next 12 months and run simulations to analyze KPI impacts for proactive decision-making.
- Support Team Communication and Development: Foster effective communication within the team and with support teams, and participate in training and improvement projects to promote a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications
Education/ Experience:
- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
- Requires some work experience and intermediate level knowledge obtained through training or on-the-job experience.
Responsibilities
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in both French and English to effectively communicate with stakeholders in Cummins France and beyond.
- Relevant Experience and Education: At least 3-5 years of experience in procurement or logistics, along with a diploma in Logistics, to ensure you have the necessary background and expertise.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, IFS, or any ERP system, and general comfort with IT and computer usage to manage purchase orders and analyze data efficiently.
- Strong Communication Skills: The ability to communicate effectively with team members and external partners to ensure smooth procurement processes and collaboration.
