Job Description: This individual will play a pivotal role in optimizing our supply chain operations through data analysis and predictive modeling. This is an opportunity to bring a background in supply chain management and passion for data-driven decision-making to this new team.

Responsibilities:

  • Data Engineering: Gather, clean, and analyze data from sales, inventory, and production.
  • Predictive Modeling: Develop and maintain predictive models to forecast demand, identify potential supply chain disruptions, and optimize inventory levels.
  • Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and operations, to provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for supply chain process improvement and cost reduction then recommend actionable solutions.
  • Data Visualization: Create informative and easy-to-understand data visualizations and reports for stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Education: Required Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Data Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in data analytics or data science.
  • Software / Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data engineering, statistical modeling, and data visualization tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Tableau/Domo). Microsoft Office experience required. AS400 and ERP system experience preferred.
  • Supply Chain Knowledge: Understanding of supply chain principles, inventory management, and forecasting methodologies.
  • Predictive Modeling: Experience with predictive modeling techniques, such as time series analysis, regression analysis, and machine learning algorithms.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to convey complex analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Team Player: Collaborate in a cross-functional team environment.

Salary Information: Starting salary is flexible based on candidate experience & education. Expected range: $68,000 - $82,000+
