POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Supply Chain Engineering serves as a processimprovement leader, inventory profiling expert, reporting and system designer.The position will also lead projects that drive enhanced productivity andquality throughout the Supply Chain. The job will require the incumbent tolearn and document current processes and systems, develop metrics where nonecurrently exist, and implement process changes with operational leaders. Thiscould also require system redesign and implementation.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree in supply chain, engineering, or related field.
APICS CPIM a plus.
5 years+ experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably in material call off and supply chain.
Appliance or similar product assembly experience.
Demonstrated ability to influence all levels of the organization.
Strong computer skills - Excel, PowerPoint.
Knowledge of PowerBI and database generation preferred.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan and implement the overall Supply Chain strategy using EMS/MEP guidelines. For material flow and material call off.
- Determines efficient utilization of resources by analyzing layouts, labor force, equipment, driver, and equipment utilization charts.
- Improve Supply Chain processes through application of lean manufacturing techniques to reduce waste, costs and improve quality.
- Understand and utilize 5S, 7 Waste, VSM and problem-solving tools.
- Timely completion of projects and reports.
- Define and calculate total cost impacts for projects.
- Supports business development and helps create efficient designs and solutions processes.
- Develop reporting tools and dashboards for current material call off and flow work streams.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
