Job Description

Here at Anaplan, we have reinvented how companies see, plan, and run their businesses. Our platform allows our customers to uncover new insights, connect their strategy to their plans, and work in ways they had not previously thought possible. We’re growing fast, constantly innovating, and couldn’t be prouder to help our customers move forward with confidence in a sophisticated and changing world.

We are looking for forward-thinking people who put customer experience at the forefront of every decision. Individuals who thrive on challenges and are ready to grasp the opportunity of a lifetime. Because we fundamentally believe every colleague brings outstanding value to our whole. We are a workplace where each person feels seen, heard, and valued, and can contribute their unique talent to our collective effort. We believe that for ourselves and for our customers.

The role of a Supply Chain Functional Consultant is passionate about implementing Anaplan’s Supply Chain Planning Applications. It involves understanding our client's business requirements and translating that into functional software solutions. Adept at understanding supply chain planning functions and how they are used, the successful candidates will be natural at thinking like an “end-user” of enterprise applications, driving high usability for efficient and optimal system use.

You will have experience in supply chain planning solutions, either in end-user or implementation roles. What matters is that you are highly numerically literate and enjoy working with technology.

As you will be interfacing with the client’s team, this role demands candidates with good interpersonal, communication, and engagement skills.

Your Impact

As Supply Chain Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for:

  • Working closely with the Supply Chain Delivery Lead to capture the client’s business requirements and creating a corresponding set of functional specifications, to be documented for the client’s approval.
  • Conducting and leading discovery and design sessions with the client.
  • Providing guidance and direction on best practice approaches to clients’ business processes.
  • Developing business process flows of the client’s functional requirements, for multiple levels and roles.
  • Analyzing client data and master data to assess suitability to meet the requirements and advise the client on any implications to their proposed planning process.
  • Modifying the Supply Chain Applications (Anaplan model building), to support the client’s functional requirements, including updating data integrations and the user interface.
  • Developing user training documentation of the client’s solution.
  • Conducting solution validation and testing of the application, ensuring zero defects.
  • Providing solution demonstrations to clients of their solution. Providing solution training to the client’s key users on the application.
  • Provide input to Product Management on application improvements based on customer feedback.
Your Qualifications
  • 5+ years in a relevant business position, likely to be in a professional services capacity involving the implementation of technology solutions within Supply Chain Planning.
  • Solid skills and experience in the use of planning and modeling technology solutions within supply chain planning, sales operations, and other business areas.
  • Experience with Supply Chain Planning tools. Familiarity with Anaplan is highly desirable.
  • Educated to at least a degree level, ideally in a business or engineering degree.
  • Superb communication, organizational, documentation, and social skills.
  • A passion for getting hands-on with the technology, being highly curious about its use, and the ability to ramp up skills rapidly. Experience in agile project delivery.
  • Flexibility to travel, and to work away from home.
