Supply Chain Logistics Manager

The Elevator Pitch

Do you enjoy working cross functionally within a team? Do you have strong in-depth analysis skills?

Evolv is looking for a Supply Chain Logistics Manager to come in and analyze, select, and implement important programs and Inventory Management Systems that will continue to improve our level of service and our organizational efficiency. This will require in-depth analysis of existing operational processes, various enterprise systems and data and reporting solutions for improvement.

Success in the Role: What are performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?

In the first 30 days, you will:

• Learn the current infrastructure of Evolv and our success stories, while diving into our biggest challenges to determine where change can be made.
• Identify a Third-Party Logistics partner

• Show internal value and build internal relationships

Within 3 months, you will:

• Understand our deficiencies and know what is needed to fix them

• Understand the Evolv systems as it relates to Logistics

• Position Logistics to supply parts wherever needed within North America for Next Day delivery, through partner managed facilities

By the end of the first year, you will:

• Set supply chain practices that are in line with company policies, standards, laws and regulations
• Analyze the supply chain data, make recommendations to solve any issues or putting alternative plans in place

• Have parts management under control, using an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system in place running Just-in-Time ordering and tracking
• Implement an RMA (Return Manufacturing Authorizations) process
• Establish relationships with Engineering, Manufacturing and our 3rd party logistic partner
• Set inventory standards and order processes
• Recommend and adopt new technologies as they relate to Field Service Logistics

The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?

• Understand the parts lifecycle and inventory management
• Managing Field Service Logistics parts lifecycles

• Reporting on deficiencies, commonly used parts, abnormalities in usage
• Owning and improving the RMA process through automation
• Manage the existing parts logistics personnel
• Forge a strong working relationship with:

• Engineering: participating in Engineering Change Order/ Field Change Order discussions and translating them to the field

• Manufacturing: understand SKU and Part number changes, track them and keep Field Service up to date
• Partners: provide stocking and forecasts for; Third-Party Logistics, 3rd-Party service stocking, and corporate Sales Partners

What is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team?

• You will be joining the large Revenue Organization team with a 10+ person team in Global Service. This role reports to the Senior Director of Global Services.

Where is the role located?

• This role is based out of our HQ in Waltham, MA with some flexibility in being remote some days.
