LG Electronics is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join our Customer Service Team!
POSITION SUMMARY
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for partnering with suppliers' sales channels to develop and implement inventory strategies that maximize sales and inventory productivity for after-market service and accessory parts. To maximize sales and inventory productivity, it is critical that the SCM manager maintains the appropriate in-stock positions and manages inventory in the most effective manner across all the business units. The manager will work closely with the Logistics team, Warehouse team, Sales team, Field Services team, and suppliers to accomplish team goals. The SCM manager is responsible for overall business operation in forecasting demand, developing the inventory and replenishment strategy, managing metrics for each category to execute the replenishment strategy, achieving target in-stock levels and planned inventory turns, and improving overall inventory productivity.
THIS IS AN ONSITE POSITION
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage CPFR (PSI) for after-market service parts of consumer electronic goods
- Continuous improvement actions on accurate demand forecast and business projection for in & outbound inventory flows and health
- Inventory replenishment in cost-effective perspective
- Overall Inventory control - maintain optimal inventory level with adequate inventory to support sales and SVC repairs and with lean inventory to minimize potential excessive or to-be-obsoleted inventory
- Prioritize receiving (inbound) from suppliers or shipping (outbound) to customers shipments appropriately by communication with oversea counter partners or internal customers
- In part of continuous improvement activities, develop ad-hoc task, change in process, projects as needed
- Collaborate with all stakeholders to achieve KPI targets
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree
- Relevant work experience in inventory management (5 years preferred)
- Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and positive attitude
- Interpersonal skills for dealing with sensitive issues, ambiguous situations, and change in direction
- Strong skills and knowledge of statistics and quantitative data analysis and interpretation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Applications: advanced Excel skills, PowerPoint, and Power BI
- Management experience
- Experience in ERP system; SAP Business Objects Web Intelligence (preferred)
- Bilingual English and Korean (preferred)
