Eaton's B-Line Division is currently seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join our team. This position will be based in our Troy, IL facility.
Position Overview:
The plant level supply chain manager is responsible for managing all production planning, inventory control, purchasing for the manufacturing plant & distribution center. The individual serves as a critical member of the senior plant staff providing leadership, guidance and direction to all levels of plant activities as related to material flow. Leads efforts to reduce costs and improve cash flow and asset management throughout the supply chain using lean flow principals. Provides leadership
influence to help assure facility goals are met related to safety, quality, productivity, and customer service. Develops, implements, and maintains programs designed to reduce costs, improve inventory turns and optimize customer service levels.

In this function you will:
- Serves as member of the plant's senior management team and provides leadership and support for all local, division and corporate initiatives and objectives.
- Manages all aspects of the supply chain to ensure all raw materials and purchased products are obtained at the best price and quality and delivered on time to support the production schedule.
- Manages all aspects of the production schedule to assure appropriate inventory levels and integrity are maintained for stock items and that special made-to-order products are produced in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ownership of the Production Plan from S&OP monthly process derived from the sales forecast.
- Manages all aspects of the planning and inventory balancing functions for the Site warehouse.
- Manages the production and shipping schedules to ensure customer orders and STPOs are efficiently shipped, on time and complete.
- Develops and implements initiatives to reduce supply chain costs, improve inventory turns and increase customer service levels to support sales through the use of lean principals.
- Manages all functions relating to Suppliers, including, but not limited to: supplier quality and delivery performance, supplier relations, timely resolution of problems and cost competitiveness.
- Works closely with the Plant Manager & site leadership team to ensure the Value Stream concept is optimized across the site.

Qualifications
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- Minimum of three (3) years of supply chain management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of two (2) years of people management experience.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, Engineering or related technical degree.
- MBA in supply chain
- 5-7 years in a solid manufacturing background environment with an emphasis in material, purchasing, supply chain improvement and production leadership experience preferred
- CPIM, CSCP or CPM certification a plus
- SAP/SAP BW experience a plus
- LEAN implementation experience a plus
