Supply Chain Manager

Opportunity: Our client is looking for a Supply Manager who will be responsible for managing company business with suppliers and act as the primary point of contact.

Requirements: You have 5+ years of experience in supply chain or procurement for a hardware environment or early stage start up.

Core responsibilities

• Oversee supplier selection and communicate RFQs to supplier partners
• Participate in prototype builds for raw material and component supply
• Determine supplier alternatives
• Lead/support negotiations with suppliers on Development and Production Supply Agreements
• Participate in operational projects such as purchasing, logistics and materials and quality planning

Required

• B.S. in Supply Chain Management or related engineering discipline
• 5+ years experience in supply chain for a hardware environment
• Experience with composites, metal, glazing, low and high voltage electronics, lighting, interior materials and textiles
• Travel is required to visit suppliers during supplier selection and business/program reviews (10-15%)
• Experience with supplier negotiations in a competitive environment
