Supply Chain Manager
Job Description
Programmers Force is an international software house with a fast-growing team and operations in multiple regions. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Manager to manage our office supplies, inventory, and overall procurement processes. This role is crucial for ensuring that our offices run smoothly by managing daily purchases, asset tracking, and efficient supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Office Inventory Management: Oversee and manage the inventory of office supplies, systems, and equipment required to support daily operations.
- Procurement and Vendor Relations: Handle procurement of office systems, furniture, stationery, and other required supplies. Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Daily and Monthly Purchases: Plan and manage all routine purchases for office needs, ensuring timely acquisition of materials to avoid shortages and disruptions in operations.
- Asset Management: Maintain accurate records of office assets such as computers, furniture, and other equipment, ensuring proper tracking and periodic audits.
- Store and Warehouse Management: Oversee the efficient management of the company’s physical storage spaces, ensuring proper organization, security, and access to needed materials.
- Cost Control and Budgeting: Collaborate with the finance department to ensure procurement and asset management align with budgetary constraints while seeking cost-effective alternatives where possible.
- Vendor Negotiations: Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring the best terms and value for the company.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure that all procurement activities adhere to internal policies and legal standards. Generate reports on inventory levels, asset status, and purchasing trends for senior management.
- Logistics and Delivery Coordination: Manage the logistics and delivery of office supplies and equipment, ensuring timely and cost-efficient distribution.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline procurement and inventory processes, improving overall operational efficiency.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or office management roles, preferably in a corporate or tech environment.
- Procurement Expertise: Experience in managing office supplies, negotiating with vendors, and handling procurement for daily and monthly office needs.
- Asset and Inventory Management: Strong knowledge of inventory control systems and asset management processes.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with an ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to anticipate issues and proactively develop solutions in supply chain and asset management.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail, particularly in tracking assets, managing inventory, and reviewing contracts.
- Proficiency in Tools: Familiarity with procurement and inventory management software/tools is a plus.
