Supply Chain Manager:

Prioritizes and drive performance improvements that will have substantial impact on the business results and on delivering operational excellence to customers, by challenging the status quo, coaching, and embedding a mindset of continuous improvement to achieve performance excellence.

Your role:

  • Serves as Chief of Staff for Integrated Supply Chain Leader, spanning Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing, Distribution, Planning and Service
  • Leads the deployment and embedding of critical capabilities and standardized ways of working (tools, methods) across the Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) function. Owns ISC's tiered management systems and facilitates tactical review at ISC leadership team level
  • Assesses the organization in determining Operational Excellence Maturity.
  • Sustains and facilitates the Hoshin Kanri planning and execution on region and on site level
  • Structurally supports ISC leadership team to improve key business metrics by regular OPEX-assessments to identify operational improvement opportunities (outside-in view)
  • Supports the business in resolving issues, using the known lean and 6S tools, the CI methodology, Kaizen events and Problem Solving as a way to improve Quality, Delivery, Cost and Inventory within their assigned region
  • Coaches Operational Excellence Specialists by sharing, implementing and sustaining best practices across deployment sites and across sector
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

You're the right fit if:

  • Master degree in Business or Engineering highly preferred; bachelors required.
  • 10+ years of experience in business process improvement experience, managing large projects/programs in complex cross functional organizations and/or environments.
  • Manages the deployment and embedding of critical capabilities and standardized ways of working. Mastery of all Operational Excellence methodologies
  • Supports a program or project across sites and change management, empathy & Interpersonal skills
  • Is able to create buy-in from senior stakeholders
  • Understands a P&L to drive performance and business impact
  • Supports the business in resolving issues, using the known lean and 6S tools, the CI methodology, Kaizen events and Problem Solving as a way to improve Quality, Delivery, Cost and Inventory within their assigned
  • Helps MTs and middle management to improve key business metrics by assessing the situation and identifying opportunities where lean, 6S and CI tools can be used
  • Coaches Operational Excellence Specialists by sharing, implementing and sustaining best practices across deployment sites and across sectors
  • Focuses on productivity planning & execution and E2E view of value chain efficiency & effectiveness based on strategic priorities
