What We Need
The Supply Chain Manager (SCM) owns material flow for Brady Florist Ave operations including sourcing, procurement, production planning, and movement of material from incoming, through production to shipping. The SCM will be responsible for inventory (including excess / obsolete), supplier management, and cycle count processes. Local site buying and master data report into this role. This role routinely interacts with logistics, strategic sourcing and category managers
This position will perform as a manager of people to coordinate the activities described above. The successful candidate will be able to define and set clear Planning and Inventory Control Strategies and direct the work of key sourcing, procurement and planning personnel in support of the business objectives while also influencing the work of those personnel who do not directly report to him/her.

What You'll Do
- Responsible for the entire P IC (Planning and Inventory Control) process, from raw material to shipment of product
- Responsible for shipping and receiving processes
- Responsible for SAP planning data and master data
- Support strategic sourcing in supplier selection and contract negotiations.
- Managing raw, WIP (work-in-process) and finished goods accurate inventory levels, while maintaining high service levels and margin achievement.
- Responsible for cycle counts and excess/obsolete inventory
- Responsible for planning strategies and parameters, including supplier strategies such as consignment
- Work cross functionally with Product Managers and Engineers on the NPI (new product introduction) process, material changes and supply interruptions.
- Establish and adhere to production operations processes
- Supervise, provide direction, set expectations, ensure accountability, reward, acknowledge and develop direct reports.
- Interface with finance, strategic sourcing, logistics, engineering, marketing and leadership related to P IC
What You'll Need
- Bachelor degree with a technical or related business focus from an accredited university
- Minimum 5 years of increasing experience in and around Manufacturing for large, multinational customers with that experience focused in Operations, Sourcing, and Planning.
- Strong business sense
- Experience with supplier management
- Basic understanding and working knowledge of international Logistics and Transportation issues
- Strong leadership skills and manager of people experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- SAP / ERP knowledge
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- APICS certification and/or a working knowledge of P IC
