Summary

We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager along the PAC NW Coast who will be primarily responsible for developing new supplier relationships within markets that 48forty cannot service directly. In developing and nurturing our supplier network, the Supply Chain Manager is responsible for building relationships, pricing negotiations, customer service, and account administration.

• Forge lasting and reliable relationships with key service providers throughout the geographic region
• Negotiate pricing with service providers for all products with new and existing accounts
• Manage and ensure timely resolution (as necessary) of service, product and AR/AP issues with service providers
• Maintain and expand revenue and profitability with new and existing accounts
• Manage portfolios of business with service providers to maximize both relationship and margin to better serve our customers
• Co-manage, with Pricing Manager, RFP/RFQ bid processes and pricing requests
• Generate weekly/monthly activity reports as required
• Communicate effectively with all internal and external customers
• Develop and achieve volume and profitability plans
• Travel to key service provider and customer locations as needed

• Bachelor's Degree preferred in Business Administration, Marketing or Finance or other equivalent academic/professional disciplines
• Pallet industry experience.
• Operations and/or sales background.
• 3 - 5 years business development and account management
• Proven track record of outside sales success and stability
• Experience in brokering supply chain products and solutions
• Deep knowledge of pallet recycling industry
• Pallet, Lumber, and/or Packaging Industry experience
• Strong problem-solving skills
