Job Description:

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Gather data and use appropriate analytical methods, mathematical models and tools to develop flexible, scalable network models/what-if scenarios to understand, predict and improve logistics operations, architecture, flows and processes
  • Develop network models to support various business segments - factoring in fixed/variable facilities, transportation, and inventory costs; various supply chain constraints, such as capacity, productivity, etc.; service level requirements; and future long-term plans for growth/shifts in business.
  • Partner/collaborate across the supply chain organization and other business groups to identify new opportunities using advanced analytics and SC optimization tools
  • Analyze logistics operational performance to ensure alignment with overall company and business group strategies.
  • Utilize advanced modeling software, such as Llamasoft Supply Chain Guru X and other related tools, to provide appropriate analyses
  • Drive transportation routing and optimization studies (for parcel, airfreight, ocean, LTL/ TL freight as well as dedicated fleet/milk runs) to drive cost, transit time, carbon footprint improvements.
  • Communicate verbally and in writing to stakeholders with various levels of technical knowledge, educating them about our systems, as well as sharing insights, recommendations, and gain alignment on priorities and investments

What we are looking for:
  • Bachelor's Degree with 7+ years of experience in Supply Chain Operations focusing on execution and logistics network optimization. Master's Degree preferred.
  • Focus in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain/Operational Research, or other related field preferred.
  • Project Management experience within logistics environments.
  • Prior experience with Supply Chain Optimization and network modeling tools such as Supply Chain Guru, Anylogistix or other related software solutions
  • Prior experience utilizing code (Python, R, SQL, Go, etc.) for analyzing data.
  • Prior experience building statistical models/algorithms to support demand planning and forecasting.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and critical thinking skills with demonstrated use of data analysis and metrics to drive decision making
  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of information quickly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent judgment and presentation skills
  • Must be comfortable with ambiguity to be able to navigate through uncertain situations and drive for clarity.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment to achieve customer business objectives, personal and team goals, and complete assignments within established time frames and specifications.

Experience / Education
Typically requires 5-7 years of related experience with a 4 year degree; or 3 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent work experience.

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:
$81,100.00 - $121,000.00
Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.

Remote work employees may be required to be present at the closest designated Arrow office for work-related purposes, at the Company's request and sole discretion.
