Supply Chain Planner (Weekend or Night shift)

Join our dynamic team of Air Exports specialists as an Operations Associate, where your primary objective is to facilitate seamless global trade for our clients while optimizing their supply chain processes. The roles responsibilities will include achieving Service Level Agreements (SLAs) in a timely manner, providing outstanding customer service, and managing shipment processing.
This particular role is onsite, and situated at either our airline terminal or warehouse, where your primary responsibility will involve supervising incoming shipments.Â
You will:
- Oversee the handling, receiving and processing of Flexports top Air Export clients, tendering to, and moving out of our terminal.
- Provide extra value-added services, such as labeling, as the situation demands.
- Obtain STA clearance and Dangerous Goods training ( provided )Â
- Coordinate various tasks related to shipments, including obtaining bookings, creating shipping documents, shipment updates, pre-alert processing, and shipment tracking.Â
- Communicate clearly and effectively with overseas offices, partners, customers, and vendors to guarantee a seamless flow of shipments and resolve potential issues promptly
- Cultivate positive working relationships among team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment
- Apply industry knowledge and employ critical thinking to adapt processes and proactively find solutions to both internal and external challenges that may arise
- Strictly adhere to Flexport’s, as well as local and global, laws, regulations, and procedures to maintain compliance and uphold the highest ethical standards in all activities
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 years of Global Forwarding experience
- Growth mindset – Always looking for ways to improve yourself and the company, being open to change and looking for improvement opportunities.Â
Prefered Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
- 1-3 years of industry experience in Air Freight, exports compliance, Dangerous goods or Warehousing is encouraged.
- Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Exceptional organizational, prioritization and planning skills, and process improvement in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
- Proficient in MS Office or Google apps
