Supply Chain Planning Intern Fall/Spring (Onsite Mountain View, CA)

Supply Chain Planning Intern at Lunar Energy will be responsible for developing accurate demand forecasts to inform production, purchasing, and inventory management decisions. Analyze data to manage CTB, capacity, supply allocations and track key metrics. We are looking for people who are passionate about a more sustainable future and want to make that vision a reality. On a given day at Lunar, you’ll likely…

• Develop and implement materials planning strategies in partnership with Contract Manufacturers to ensure ability to support Lunar Energy's production goals
• Manage Clear-to-Build (CTB): Provide visibility to material supply and capacity, highlighting projected coverage and constraints
• Create allocation strategies for constrained materials by developing models across CMs and products. Provide allocation direction to GSMs and CM teams and ensure supply alignment
• Collaborate with inventory management teams to ensure inventory accuracy and develop reports to aid in day to day operations

Desired Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or Industrial Engineering
• Experience in Supply Chain Management (preferably Hardware), Project Management preferred
• Advanced User of MS Excel or GSheets, experience with data visualization preferred
• Strong organizational skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Our Compensation Philosophy: Our goal is to ensure that all Lunar Energy employees are fairly compensated. Please note that the hourly range information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position provided pursuant to the Pay Transparency for Pay Equity Act for California applicants. The hourly range estimate for this position depending on level of experience is: $20 - $30 USD.
