Job Description
This is a cross-functional strategic project leadership role with responsibility for project definition and initiative prioritization, project management, business readiness, as well as reaching the defined project outcomes. The project portfolio includes projects with moderate to high complexity and impact across multiple business units and functions. This position will interact with other groups in the organization such as the functional business and ISC teams, enterprise recovery and IT Capability lanes.
This individual must be self-directed, work well within a team environment, and be able to drive the execution of key projects and multiple projects concurrently.
- Thought Leadership - outcome driven and motivated to be a thought leader in the Integrated Supply Chain organization.
- Portfolio Leadership - Develop and present comprehensive business case to ISC leadership along with the development of strategic portfolio road maps.
- Project Leadership - Demonstrated ability to lead complex enterprise level Projects.
- Functional - Functional expertise across the global supply chain functional domains. Understands the processes and data for portfolio with an end to end perspective and has a level of domain expertise to understand the business impact to related functions.
- Technical - An understanding of supply chain methods and tools and technologies used in the ISC environment. An understanding of the SAP data structures is a plus.
- People Leadership - demonstrated interest and passion for mentoring and sharing knowledge with other members of the Rockwell Automation organization.
- Communication - accomplished in assembling process deliverables, presentations, and communicating to all levels within and outside of the ISC organization.
Skills, Knowledge, Experience and Education:
- Candidate must demonstrate e2e functional knowledge in portfolios of Plan, Source, Make and Deliver
- Understand systems, processes, methods, tools, data, etc. needed in a best in class solution for functional domain focus.
- Business system experience in SAP. Demonstrated system skills and curiosity to lead the expansion of the portfolio capabilities beyond the core.
- Understand IT technologies as well as experience in organizing the transition of system integration
- Experience in Lean techniques for decomposing and optimizing a business process.
- Experience in driving Process Improvements through elimination of variation and waste while driving speed and cross-functional optimization.
- Skilled in defining business case / justification for initiatives.
- Identify, create and implement projects to drive Rockwell Automation's supply chain to best in class performance and enable the Connected Supply Chain.
- Proven leadership and change management skills to drive improvements across the broader supply chain organization.
- Demonstrated ability to drive standard business practices are implemented globally. Lead benchmark activities to ensure Rockwell practices are industry leading.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering

Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of applicable RA ISC processes
- Demonstrated skills in process management and continuous improvement.
- High level of demonstrated written and oral communication skills
- Project Management Certification (PMP) or equivalent experience in leadership of large scale cross functional projects.
- Lean/Six Sigma, CPM, APIC Certification, etc.,
- Knowledge of Supply Chain, Operations, Project Management, SAP, MRP, inventory, and production planning principles.
