The Supply Chain Project Manager is a key leader within the Global Mobile Solutions Supply Chain Organization responsible for managing and executing projects that optimize the end-to-end supply chain. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project completion, adhere to timeline and scope requirements, and successfully execute programs while communicating regularly to internal and external stakeholders. Ideal candidates will be able to work a hybrid schedule from our Bloomington, MN location.
Role Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary resource to coordinate projects that support point of manufacturing decisions, footprint utilization, supply chain optimization and product transfers
- Leads collaborative project review meetings to highlight significant updates, assessing risks and risk mitigation plans while providing project status to key stakeholders.
- Mobilizes and motivates effective project teams; communicating effectively across teams and groups; reprioritizing as necessary to address changes in the business and/or shifting needs.
- Manages projects through to completion ensuring on-time delivery and maintaining overall project ownership to assigned projects.
- Ensures time and resources align with business priorities and objectives and escalates project risks to manager as appropriate.
- Support strategic alignment between global, regional, and site Operational strategies as needed to support business growth trajectory, customer service expectations and optimize cost.
- Create and manage process of resource planning, Rough Cut Capacity Planning, and Capacity Requirement Planning.
- Conduct Point of Manufacture and Distribution analysis and oversee execution of key decisions.
- Recommend strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes, identifying problems, evaluating trends and anticipating requirements across all regions.
- Develop and validate Total Landed Cost strategies for key products.
- Drives process improvement, and adherence to company project standards for assigned projects
- Build and maintain good relationships with all business customers and colleagues
- Schedule and facilitate meetings necessary to coordinate and manage projects and other related business requirements.
TRAVEL: Up to 10%
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of Supply Chain / manufacturing experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- APIC/CPIM certifications are preferred
- Experience in other Operations disciplines beyond Supply Chain Planning, i.e. Production, Logistics, Product Management, Engineering, etc.
- 2-4 years' experience in Project Management leadership in a supply chain related field
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred
- Experience with Innovation projects, product commercialization, stage gate methodology and business execution projects.
- Project management experience with Procurement, Production, Supply Planning and Scheduling
- Ability to project manage and work on multiple assignments concurrently
- Resourceful self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity
