The Specialist I, Supply Chain is a member of a team with responsibility for analytical support of the warehouse operations (receiving, storage, materials delivery to production and shipping) and manufacturing operations areas, to ensure tasks within the area are supported and are executed on time, on budget and in strict compliance with GMP, EHS and Company quality systems and requirements. Role may also be called upon fill in cross-functionally within the team’s scope of responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that daily tasks and department initiatives are completed to schedule and or as required
- Keep current with all training
- Review as assigned the warehouse Standard Operating Procedures guaranteeing the respect of Quality, Compliance and Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) requirementsÂ
- Participate when applicable in EHS program to review EHS performance and to identify and implement preventive and corrective actions
- Support the investigations of Warehouse-related Quality events including Corrective Actions Preventive Actions (CAPA) processes and change controls
- Support cycle counts: review discrepancies identified during cycle counting and define proper corrective actions
- Demonstrated experience in a biotech/pharmaceutical manufacturing environment with a solid understanding of cGMP requirements
- Operate material movement equipment including standing / sitting fork-lifts
- Receive in GMP components / materials as well as other items through shipping and receiving designated spaces
Requirements
- High School Diploma required Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 0-2 years of experience in supply chain or related discipline or equivalent
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills in an uncompromising process environment
- Some experience with ERP systems, processes and concepts
- Company focused, respectful, of high integrity, be open and honest, and excellent in execution
- Confident with ability to hold others accountable to agreed-upon processes and procedures
- Deadline focused with ability to juggle several activities and deadlines at a time
