Pay Range: $69,800.00 - $118,700.00 Annually

Group/Division

The Global Service Support Organization (GSS) team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support. The GSS organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

This position you are the single point of contact liaison for our spare parts between regional counterparts and HQ. Driving the communication and messaging between customer regions and internal planning to ensure established targets and service commitments are incorporated.

Responsibilities

  • Translate regional/customer requests into a problem statement for review with HQ team
  • Coordinate closely with field marketing on customer developments and field team engagement messaging
  • Coordinate KPI performance; Fill Rate Performance v. Fill Rate Targets, Planned vs. Actual Inventory, etc
  • Responsible for service level reporting to HQ and Field teams
  • Drive Spares Delivery Performance improvement actions with accountable cross functional teams
  • Perform miss analysis and drive corrective actions in collaboration with multiple functions (e.g., sales, marketing, customer service, demand planning, etc.)
  • Ability to recognize process gaps and drive improvements holistically
  • Conduct ramp readiness reviews for spares support within assigned region. Ensuring spare plan coverage sufficient to meet entitlement requirements during customer ramp
  • Support SSO leadership team through preparation of presentations, analyses, simulations to anticipate risks and enable decision making

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree plus 3+ years of related experience. BS or BA, preferably in a relevant field such as Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Data Analytics
  • High proficiency in MS Excel; MS Access [ Data Base, SQL a plus]
  • Critical thinking and strong analytical skills: ability to collect, prioritize, and analyze data to support demand and supply optimization
  • Attention to detail and a passion for data accuracy
  • Understanding of root cause analysis (e.g., 5 why's)
  • Ability to work well on cross-functional teams
  • Handle ambiguity, identify gaps, and implement innovative solutions to increase operational efficiency. Use professional concepts and company objectives to resolve sophisticated issues in creative and effective ways

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with +5 years' work experience, OR Master's degree with +3 years' work experience
