Job Description
- Monitor supplier performance and compliance with contracts, ensuring timely deliveries and adherence to quality standards
- Develop and implement effective inventory control strategies to optimize stock levels, minimize carrying costs, and reduce stockouts or overstocks
- Conduct regular inventory analysis to identify slow-moving or obsolete items and recommend appropriate action
- Coordinate transportation and logistics activities, including arranging shipments, managing freight costs, and tracking delivery schedules
- Work closely with carriers and freight forwarders to optimize delivery routes and transit times
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and upcoming promotions or events
- Adjust inventory plans accordingly to meet changing demand patterns and seasonal fluctuations
- Identify inefficiencies in the supply chain process and propose and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs
- Streamline processes for order processing, procurement, and demand fulfillment to increase efficiency and meet customer expectations
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to supply chain operations
- Supply Chain reporting
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to address potential disruptions in the supply chain
- Planning and implementing supply chain optimization projects
- Tracking KPIs and reporting on performance
- Planning and implementing supply chain optimization projects
- Finding the most cost-efficient shipment methods and procedures
- Pursuing improvement in all aspects of the supply chain by reviewing current methodology and processes
- Researching and finding the most cost-efficient shipment methods and procedures
- Identifying and analyzing supply chain trends
- Accurately maintain Master Data
- Participate in and drive OTIF (On Time In Full)
- Participate Monthly S&OP review
- Lead Weekly Demand review meetings for all divisions with Commercial team, ensuring agreed minimum required stock cover maintained per division as per key performance indicator
- Maintain ERP system housekeeping for demand and supply
