Supply Chain Sr. Analyst
Job Description
We're currently looking for a Supply Chain Sr. Analyst to join our team in Franklin, TN.
This Is What You Will Do:
- Lead the creation of an in-house parts team
- Develop processes that do not currently exist to ensure in-house part supply from global counterparts often located in Japan
- Be able to read and summarize production plans for Nissan plants outside of the North American Region
- Serve as a back-up option for the volume planning and capacity analysts
- Build trust and lasting relationships with global counterparts, often located in Japan
- Explore processes and techniques to ensure in-house supply in times of sudden change
- Validate study proposals for in-house parts to support sales initiatives
- Serve as coordinator for and liaison regional powertrain production planning and global powertrain production planning
- Understand overall minor model change validation process for all vehicle & powertrain programs
- Interact with data analytics tools such as Tableau / Snowflake / R / SQL / Excel / PowerPoint / etc.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
- 5 years+ of directly related Supply Chain Management experience.
- Ability to lead projects independently across functional boundaries
- Proven capability in evaluating risks in the supply base
- Experience in summarizing complex information and explaining cost break downs
- Ability to follow through and make significant progress in a fast paced, demanding, dynamic environment
- Computer Skills: working proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint and Excel)
- Travel: Ability to travel locally and internationally up to 10%
Preferred Skills:
- Capacity management, engineering, inventory control, lean manufacturing, logistics, planning, and/or production scheduling.
- Ability to identify bottleneck processes for potential efficiency improvements
- Program / Project Management
- Basic Problem Solving
- Tableau / Spotfire, Microsoft: Visio, Access, SharePoint, Project
- Familiarity with MRP Systems
- Capacity Constraint Management
