OnsiteCollins Aerospace is searching for a dynamic and strategic Supply Chain Strategy Manager to join our team! In this pivotal role, you will serve as the crucial link between our targeted programs and the Collins Aerospace Supply Chain organization. You will play a key part in shaping and driving supply chain strategies that enhance supplier relationships and ensure contract manufacturers are positioned for success, ultimately contributing to the achievement of critical program milestones.This is an onsite role, and while Cedar Rapids, IA is the preferred location for team collaboration, candidates residing within 50 miles of other Collins Aerospace sites will also be considered.What You Will Do:

• Manage complex supply chain engineering programs from concept to successful deployment for the life cycle of the product.
• Meet material cost target objectives of the program Bill of Material (BOM) by developing supply chain strategies that align with and enable robust solutions at competitive cost.
• Ensure that the correct technology selection for the life-cycle of the product being produced on the program is accomplished.
• Drive preferred parts in all new and major redesigns.
• Develop and implement successful supplier risk mitigation plans to avoid risks that can have a major impact on overall program cost and schedule.
• Utilize the Product Focused Improvement (PFI) process, for continuous product improvement with a focus on cost management, quality, inventory and producibility improvements.
• Accountable for PFI project plan and responsible for all reporting
• Support GMRE initiatives identified in the SSRB process.
• Leverage the Central Material & Supply organization in support of Mission Systems Sourcing initiatives.
• Develop and build tools to simulate the effect of operational/strategic decision making (i.e.: make / buy connector assembly, etc.).
• Ensure all intellectual property is protected via standard Collins Aerospace processes when partnering with the supply base.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Bachelors Degree in Business or Engineering
• Prior Supply chain, SAP or Manufacturing experience
• Prior experience in materials management and cost reduction initiatives
• Prior experience with new product instructions (NPI) and working as parts of an Integrated Product Team (IPT)
• Prior experience with Strategic Sourcing
