Supply Coordinator II

BASIC PURPOSE: The primary function of the Supply Coordinator II is to support the supply team in procuring the most cost efficient and reliable supply for Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores and Circle K.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain systems with terminal outages, changes in strategy, deal entry, allocation adjustments, and supplier outs
• Chek portals for supply availability and contracts for ratabililty compliance/price performance. Request additonal product as needed.
• Monitor TABS report for loading issues and report driver loading issues to logistics/regional manager
• Effectively communicate supply changes to all stakeholders and ensure carrier(s) execution
• Review exceptions and report performance issues to supply and logistics
• Identify missing spot options and collaborate with various teams for prompt setup
• Provide backup coverage as needed
• Other duties assigned as needed

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Education:
  • • Bachelor's degree in Business related field or equivalent work experience preferred
• Experience:
  • • Experience in the energy industry preferred

SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Business Process Skills:
• • • Petroleum industry and supply chain knowledge (preferred)
    • On call weekends and after normal business hours
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel. Tableau and Power BI
• General Skills:
• • • Strong communication skills, team player, exceptional customer service, attention to detail, self-motivated, good time management skills and innovative thinking

• Typical Physical Demands:
• • • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping
    • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
    • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator
    • Requires normal range of hearing and vision
    • Travel may be required
