Key Responsibilities:

  • Guides the selection, development, and management of Strategic Suppliers to meet commodity cost and performance goals, with emphasis placed on ability to identify cost targets for relevant technology and product roadmaps.
  • Understands and monitors current commodity market conditions/trends, developing technologies, supply chain capacity/ capability, product knowledge, customer requirements and supply/demand challenges.
  • Track and report all key supplier metrics required by the Global Commodity Directors including cost savings, number of suppliers, spend analysis, supplier performance, contracts, reverse auctions, DPO, etc.
  • Manage end-to-end operations through NCR approved MSP Program's and technology that supports contingent workforce program from need, approval, sourcing, pre-onboarding activities, engagement and on-offboarding.
  • Assist with terminations in collaboration with legal, IT, security, and Employee Relations where appropriate.
  • Coordinate compilation and reporting of CW data within VMS tool and use data analytics to capture metrics including spend, volume, rates and other related VMS data.
  • Assist with managing the contingent labor team including day-to-day operations and compliance while working collaboratively with cross-functional partners (Legal, Procurement, IT, Strategy, Finance, & HR).
  • Serve as the primary point of contact, liaison, and escalation for contingent labor inquiries for internal or external stakeholders and take lead role for sensitive situations and complaints.
  • Manage staffing agencies according to contractual agreements and oversees staffing agency performance and adherence to regular reporting requirements.
  • In conjunction with management, proactively identify issues, failures, and risks associated with program and staffing agency.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external vendors; regularly meeting to ensure outcomes are met and communicate program policies and procedures.
  • Regularly evaluate and explore vendor partners based on performance and business needs.
  • Be the overall process owner, accountable for ensuring all procedures are current and comprehensively documented.
  • Influence teams to evaluate and convert where appropriate to limit risks and reduce costs or move as needed once existing role not needed, leave over, or role filled with fulltime hire.
  • Manage procurement process with vendors and ensure all invoices are tracked and billed to appropriate operating companies.
