About The Role:
As a Supply Planning Manager, you will play a critical role supporting the end-to-end planning function across production and inventory management. You will be responsible for all activities across our international co manufacturers, optimizing the production and distribution process.
The right person for this role will be a highly-motivated, entrepreneurial individual with a background in Supply Chain and Business Planning, capable of both hands-on and individual contribution in a highly dynamic, start-up environment. If this sounds like you, read on below!
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Develop monthly production plans based on inventories, financial forecast and bottoms-up demand plan
- Provide strategic analysis and recommendations for Feastables’ end-to-end inventory and supply across multiple products and channels
- Monitor inventory levels, analyze stock movement, and develop inventory replenishment strategies to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing excess inventory
- Contribute during monthly S&OP, providing insights and drivers for the collaborative Supply Planning review
- Partner closely with the Procurement & Sourcing team to secure capacity and manage a responsive supply chain to drive growth across all finished products, ingredients, packaging and VAS/retail display programs
- Ensure timely communication around inventory levels to support promotional programs and assortment changes, mitigate out of stock losses, and other impactful supply chain events
- Help facilitate the Inventory Deployment processes in partnership with Operations & Warehousing to ensure proper levels of inventory are maintained throughout the network in order to deliver the best customer experience
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members to appropriately allocate available inventory
- Manage aging inventory and work cross functionally to identify outlets for unproductive product
- Utilize analytics and reporting tools to analyze supply chain data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights for continuous process improvement
- Additional duties as necessary
Recipe For Success:
- 5+ years’ Supply Chain/Operations experience, preferably within a fast-moving consumer goods environment
- Quick learner with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain focus, and adapt to a variety of challenges in a fast-paced environment
- Food/Beverage manufacturing and Consumer Packaged Good experience in high-growth, start-up environments
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a ‘self-start’ mentality
- Problem-solver seeking innovative and creative solutions
- Strong analytical skills are a must have
- Advanced MS Excel
- Strong sense of urgency and time management
- Must be highly organized and detailed
- A team player: ability to work and make decisions with appropriate levels of collaboration and engagement with the team to ensure alignment
- Ability to conduct detailed analyses in a time constrained environment
- Comfortable with a workday and schedule that isn’t always highly structured or predictable
- Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work enthusiastically within changing priorities
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Economics or other related field required
- Six Sigma Black Belt / APICS certification is a plus
