Supply Planning Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE

This position’s primary responsibility, as the lead connect fitness unit (CFU) supply planner, will be to:

• Ensure signal to suppliers across all SKUs is validated and in alignment with company/project strategies
• Lead supplier management process, drive weekly review with supply base and ensure timely build/ship execution
• Understand operational and planning system requirements to be able to expand replenishment processes into planning system and out of manual files
• Be responsible for a specific category to plan (inventory management, purchase order execution, tracking logistics)
• Regularly supervise inventory health and aligning inventory strategies with changing demand trends  
• Interface and collaborate with internal teams (System and process, Sourcing, logistics) to ensure team meet customer service goals

YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON

• Effectively drive weekly planning cycle to build appropriate supply plans across multiple product categories and support inventory strategy for our global parts demand (US/CA/UK/DE).
• Size business requirements within operations organization, and drive systematic solutions for inventory planning, and replenishment planning.  
• Partner with business teams to define planning strategy for NPI/EOL,and establish processes to measure and manage obsolescence.
• Contextualize historical trends, patterns, and collaborate with middle mile logistics teams to formulate optimal stocking strategies.
• Provide analysis and scenario plans to support S&OP process, and articulate recommendations to supply chain leadership team highlighting Inventory and Logistic cost impact and tradeoffs.
• Use existing tools and develop new approach/tools/systems to manage component requirements 
• Conduct root cause analysis for supply chain issues/constraints/process gaps and drive process improvement
• Develop reports related to POs, Supply commit schedules, Inventory, Forecast accuracy and other KPIs

YOU BRING TO PELOTON

• 6 years of supply chain planning experience 
• Self-starter mentality with a drive to improve processes and systems
• Great functional leader interpersonal skills, ability to distill down complex issues and communicate effectively  
• Knowledge in inventory consumption, hub and spoke distribution model
• Advanced knowledge of leading MRP systems (SAP, Oracle) is a strong plus
• Prior experience with Asia based manufacturing and supplier management
• Ability to work effectively and creatively in a lean environment
• Familiarity/expertise in ERP/Advanced planning systems/BI Tools, and prior system implementation experience preferred
