Summary

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies through the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base Facilities and the Major Range and Test Facilities Base in the DoD.   • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

  • You may be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-04) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing supply support work by utilizing supply regulations, policies, and procedures to perform supply technical duties such as processing and resolution of material and inventory action procedures. Examples of specialized experience includes some or all of the following: 1) Recording, processing, or resolving discrepant, rejected and frustrated material receipts; 2) Determining corrective actions to properly record material/inventory receipts in an automated supply database; 3) Processing receipts and/or reviewing receipt documents to determine cause of discrepancy; 4) Utilizing one or more automated supply databases to enter, correct, and retrieve recurring reports and to structure and retrieve specialized reports.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

You may qualify for this position using education to substitute for specialized experience if you have successfully completed four years of education above high school level.

OR

You have a combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.

This position is eligible for part time, substantial or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management.
