Support Analyst

Remote - In/around the Boston, MA area - Could have to occasionally go into the office a few times a month.

We built our Digital innovation Hub in downtown Boston and staffed the start-up with top talent from leading Boston eCommerce firms like BJs, Keurig, Sapient, Staples, Vistaprint and Wayfair. The Boston office has a broad mandate to drive the company’s digital capabilities and reports to our Boston-based Chief Digital Officer. This is a start-up opportunity to build digital capabilities from the ground up using a composable architecture with the latest technologies across the digital ecosystem.

This role reports to our Boston-based Technical Delivery Manager.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience managing eCommerce SRE/DevOps, in an onshore/offshore model, with a track record of product lifecycle delivery through automation
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent
• Experience monitoring high-traffic websites using industry standard monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, Datadog, Pingdom, OpsGenie or similar
• Familiarity with SAP ERP
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences

Job Responsibilities

• Point of Contact between Customer Service and Engineering teams
• Daily management of support tickets in tracking systems
• Analyze defects, research solutions prior to being elevated to Engineering team
• Continuous Monitoring of the platform and supporting services
• Leverage monitoring tools to manage environments, integrations between cloud services and platforms, alert triggers, and incident responses
• Manage all production incident responses to Customer Service team
• Experience with containerized/Docker-based workloads in the cloud
• Ability to work independently with a strong attention to detail and under time constraints

Skills

• Security: Secure design and coding, scan tools, remediation, XSS, XSRF, SQLi, XMLi, CORS, etc.
• Infra: Hands-on experience GCP, infrastructure-as-code toolset
• Networking: TCP/IP, Architecture, security patterns, and implementation, firewalls, routing, VLANs, certificates
• Containers: Docker, Kubernetes
• OS: Unix/Linux distros – CentOS, Red Hat
• Environment: Experience with Linux/RHEL, bash, powershell scripting, gcloud, gsutils, kubectl
• Monitoring: Splunk, ELK, Stackdriver, Application Monitoring tool
• Web Services: SOAP, REST services, XML/XSL/XSD, GraphQL Server and Client
• Web Development: HTML, JavaScript, CSS, ReactJS, NodeJS
• Development Tools: Apache Maven, GitHub
• NoSQL/Caching: Cassandra, Redis, Memcached

Compensation: $74,520 - $111,780 annually + Bonus eligible.
