Overview of Support Analyst - Onboarding & Pipe cleaning:
- Coordinate on-boarding and migration of trading flows with technology and business stakeholders
- Pipe cleaning of new asset classes to be traded in the firm using internal applications and broker/exchanges before the full-scale trading
- Gatekeep the production environment by reviewing the changes in technology space; Create and maintain internal tools and scripts
Typical Day of Support Analyst:
- Conduct scheduled pipe cleaning activities with regional trading desks and operations
- Carry out analysis, planning & execution for any ongoing on boarding, migration projects
- Analyze and provide feedback on changes going into production wherever gaps are identified, CAB approval
- Provide assistance to trade floor support, operations and trading desks on any queries raised related to the trading flows
Skill Set Required for Position:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related subject
- Understanding of the financial domain and different types of asset classes (at least listed ones - Equities & Derivatives)
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues across multiple regions
