About the Team:

Product Reliability Engineers (PREs) are responsible for ensuring that the reliability of our products are meeting the high expectations of our customers.  As a PRE, you will have the opportunity to learn all aspects of our platform and how our customers and partners interact with it. 

As part of the PRE team you will monitor key product health metrics, troubleshoot production issues, and work hand-in-hand with both internal and external groups to ensure product stability. If you’re passionate about learning and curious about how things work, you may be a good fit for this role. 

What You’ll Do:

• Develop a deep understanding of Platform Sciences products and processes.
• Collaborate with customer-facing, product, and infrastructure teams on the development and deployment of scalable, reliable software for our customers.
• Triage, troubleshoot, resolve and prevent issues encountered in the field.
• Create metrics, dashboards and processes to monitor and communicate product health to ensure product stability.
• Make data-driven decisions about investments in stability and reliability.
• Consult with product development teams to ensure traceability and reliability of their products.
• Support efforts for both active and proactive support by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
• Take part in a 24/7 on-call rotation responsible for coordinating Platform Science’s response to mission-critical incidents, ensuring efficient resolution with minimal customer impact.
