Bounteous x Accolite is looking for an experienced Support Engineer to lead support resolution for senior client stakeholders and Marquee engineering teams, acting as the escalation point for support issues fromMarquee Helpdesk (Tier 1 Support). This person will influence and mentor junior team members and develop documentation to better support experiences for impacted teams.

Role and Responsibilities

• Address support issues while also expanding the function and automating recurring issues 
• Support and successfully resolve issues with urgency; influencing a positive experience for the end user 
• Applying computer science concepts involving data structures and production environments to inform conversations with App Dev teams and senior stakeholders
• Monitor applications and verify logs to identify underlying issues in a SQL and Unix environment 

Preferred Qualifications

• Ideally, this candidate will possess 5 -10 years of software development and production management experience plus a degree in computer science or related field 
• They will have working experience with coding in Python, debugging API calls, crafting quality-of-life snippets for clients, and developing scripts for debug tooling 
• Experience with SQL and Unix/Linux environments is advantageous 
• Skilled in one of the following programming languages: Java, C, C++, VB, .NET, ASP, or Angular and scripting languages: Shell Script, Perl, Python, or JavaScript 
• Worked within Kafka/MongoDB/Microservices based architecture
