Support Engineer

N-iX is looking for a Support  Engineer to join our team full-time.

About project

It is a web application focusing on the trading market and provides corporate clients with a comprehensive suite of customization products, offering transparency, flexibility and predictability. The main goal is to allow clients to gain exposure to the market, simply and transparently, to extract a return.

Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of scripting language (PowerShell or Python);
• Solid background in Windows, Linux/Unix OS, including MongoDB,
• Ensure delivered systems are of production quality. Ensure software is adequately documented for handover to the business;
• Knowledge of server-side infrastructure and admin tools;
• Experience in technical onboarding of new APIs and systems;
• Analyze and process system-collected data and recommend improvements to site operations and maintenance strategies;
• Ensure data communications from monitored systems remain intact and data is properly collected and stored;
• Must be able to work under demanding conditions with a calm demeanor;
• Proven ability to show proactiveness in picking up issues and improving existing processes;
• Process-driven and systematic mindset;
• Excellent documentation, communication, and organizational skills;

Will be a plus:

• Knowledge in Grafana;
• Knowledge of market connectivity protocols for key global derivative, commodity, cash, and equity markets;
• Experience gained in a financial services background, ideally finance;
• Good to know Fix Messaging protocol
• SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle;
